High Service Logistics is the ability of Blue Ribbon Transport to constantly, consistently anticipate and exceed our valued customer’s expectations.  We provide the “WOW Experience”.  High Service Logistics isn’t easy but it distinguishes us from our competition.  We’re confident we have the people, technology and relationships to back it up.

“Customer service isn’t about telling people how awesome you are, it’s about creating stories that do the talking for you.”

High Service is an integral part of our job and should be exhibited in every transaction we undertake.  The most vital asset of BRT is our customers, without them we would not and could not exist in business.  As we go through our week let’s keep these few things in mind:

  1. Be a good listener.  Take the time to identify the customer’s needs by asking questions and concentrating on what the customer is really saying.  Effective listening and undivided attention are particularly important while on the phone where there is a great danger of preoccupation.
  2. Identify and anticipate needs. The more you know your customers the better you become at anticipating what they really need.  Communicate regularly so that you are aware of sore spots and where other companies have let them down.
  3. Make customers feel important and appreciated. People value sincerity, it creates loyalty and trust.  Think about ways to generate good feelings about doing business with BRT.  Thank your customers every time you get a chance.
  4. Appreciate the power of “YES”. Always look for ways to help your customers.  When they have a request try to figure out a way that we can do it.  Always do what you say you are going to do.
  5. Give more than expected. Consider the following:
    • What can we give our customers that they cannot get somewhere else?
    • What can we give our customers that is totally unexpected?

“Customer service isn’t about telling people how awesome you are, it’s about creating stories that do the talking for you.”
