Jamie Meyer, Director of Human Resources for Blue Ribbon Transport, serves on the leadership team and oversees all aspects of Human Resources and Marketing to ensure the BRT culture and branding are in line with the company’s mission and core values.
BRT is a headquartered in Indianapolis, IN and is a High Service 3rd party logistics company that specializes in supply chain solutions for the Food and Beverage industry. BRT was recognized as a top 3PL and Cold Storage Provider in 2015 and has grown more than 30% in headcount over the past 2 years.
Jamie joined BRT in 2014 and has adopted numerous best practices in human resources, implemented a formal company training program (BRT University), redesigned the performance review process to support overall company core values and expectations, and instituted a recruitment strategy to focus on retention, career succession and sustainability of the BRT company culture.
Meyer began her career as a Management Trainee for Enterprise Holdings in 1999, where she was promoted to Manager before accepting her role as Recruitment Supervisor in 2003. In 2010, Meyer joined the Logistics industry with SIRVA and led their Human Resources efforts for their Moving Services Division.
With over 13 years in the Human Resources, Meyer continues to remain active on college campuses and within the community. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communications along with an emphasis in Public Relations and Spanish.
